• Friday, June 12: Junior School’s Learning Journey Celebration (registration required)

  • 9:00 am
  • Attendees: All KES families are invited, mandatory for all Junior School students
  • Fountain Performing Arts Centre and Margaret Vair McLellan Junior School
  • Register here by Monday, June 1

  The Junior School’s Learning Journey Celebration recognizes the students involved in KES’s IGNITE program. This showcase will begin in the Fountain Performing Arts Centre before guests are invited to tour the entire Margaret Vair McLellan Junior School, stopping in each classroom to hear from different student groups.
  
  All Junior School students will be participating in this showcase; KES families from all grades are welcome to attend. 

• Friday, June 12: Grad and Parent Dance

  • 5:00 pm (following the Prom Reception)

  • Attendees: Class of 2026 and their families 

  • Stanfield Dining Hall and McLellan Annex 

  • No registration required 

• Friday, June 12: Prom Reception

  • 3:30 pm

  • Attendees: All KES families and students are invited 

  • Front Hill (for photos), Stanfield Dining Hall and McLellan Annex  

  • No registration required 

  
  All KES families and students are invited to gather near Front Hill at 3:30 pm for photos and celebration. There will be a reception 3:30 pm-5:00 pm in the Stanfield Dining Hall/McLellan Annex.

• Friday, June 12: Prom

  • Attendees: Class of 2026 students and one guest

  • 5:05 pm, students depart from the Stanfield Dining Hall and McLellan Annex 

  • 5:30 pm, Lightfoot and Wolfville 

  • 10:30 pm, bus departs to return to KES Campus 

  • 11:00 pm, return to campus 

  • Students can reach out to the Grad Committee Heads for tickets 

  Students have the choice of arranging their own transportation (limo, party bus, etc.) to the prom, or they may take the provided bus.
  
  All students may leave the prom either by being picked up by their own parent or by returning to campus on the provided bus.
  
  Students may not leave with anyone other than their own parents and are not allowed to drive themselves. All boarding students must stay on campus for the night of Friday, June 12 unless they have a pre-arranged and approved leave to stay with their own parents. 

• Friday, June 12: Class of 2026 IEF Champagne Toast (registration required)

  • 5:10 pm

  • Attendees: Families of the Class of 2026 

  • Stanfield Dining Hall and McLellan Annex 

  • Register here by Monday, June 1 

   

  As the Class of 2026 departs for their prom, parents are invited to remain in the Stanfield Dining Hall/McLellan Annex for a champagne toast and commemorative video hosted by the Inglis Education Foundation.
  
  We would love for you to attend this heartwarming event to celebrate all of your child’s hard work and dedication during their time at KES. 

• Saturday, June 13: Grade 6-11 Prize Day Ceremonies

  • 9:00 am, doors open at 8:30 am 

  • Attendees: Grade 6-11 Students and their families
    
  • This event is mandatory for Grade 6-11 students 

  • Ted Canavan Athletic Centre 

  • No registration required 

  
  Hosted in the Ted Canavan Athletic Centre, all families and guests of students in Grades 6-11 are invited to attend Prize Day. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 am, with doors opening at 8:30 am.

• Saturday, June 13: Grade 12 Encaenia Chapel Ceremony

  • 11:00 am

  • Attendees: Grade 12 Students and their parents/guardians, mandatory for Grade 12 students 

  • Hensley Memorial Chapel 

  • No registration required 

  All Grade 12 students and their Parents are invited to the Grade 12 Encaenia Chapel Ceremony.

• Saturday, June 13: Reception

  • 11:00 am

  • Invited: All students and their families/guests 

  • Stanfield Dining Hall and McLellan Annex 

  • No registration required 

  Everyone is invited to gather in the Stanfield Dining Hall/McLellan Annex between ceremonies for refreshments and light snacks.

• Saturday, June 13: Class of 2026 Photo

  • 11:30 am

  • Attendees: Grade 12 Students and their families, mandatory for Grade 12 students 

  • Parents may watch and take photos from behind the photographer 

  • Ted Canavan Athletic Centre 

  • Note: Please arrive in your graduation regalia 

  
  The Class of 2026 is asked to gather on the steps of the athletic centre for a Class of 2026 photo in their graduation regalia.

• Saturday, June 13: Graduation Ceremony

  • Attendees: Grade 12 Students and their families, mandatory for Grade 12 students
