King’s-Edgehill School, located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq nation, was founded in 1788 and is recognized as Canada's first independent school.     We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Head Coach-Highlanders Swimming at King’s-Edgehill School, equipped with its own 25m pool. If you are interested in shaping young student-athletes into confident swimmers while overseeing the operations of a swimming facility that is privately owned, we want to hear from you!

  • French Teacher (Junior School)

    About Our Opportunity
    We are looking for an energetic and dedicated full-time French Teacher for our Junior School!
     
    As a French Teacher at KES, you will be part of an inclusive, close-knit community working in a highly collaborative environment. You will receive encouragement to embrace new ideas in the classroom and have the support to put those ideas into action! With small classes you’ll enjoy getting to know your students and discovering how best to challenge, encourage, and support them in a manner that suits their personal learning styles. Outside of the classroom, you will be actively involved in every aspect of school life, from coaching athletics and supporting our weekly arts program, to accompanying students on school trips and activities!

  • Houseparent (Male Dorm)

    About Our Opportunity
    We are seeking Houseparents to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year!
    Our school prides itself on providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our boarding students from around the world. As a Houseparent, you will be a primary caregiver for a group of 10-15 students throughout the school year and play an important role in fostering a positive living environment within our boarding community. This is a live on campus role that includes responsibilities spanning safety and wellbeing of students, weekly supervisory duties, communication with parents, and chaperoning off campus outings, school events, and social activities.
