Organized by Harvey Hadley ’27, the KES swim team and community members swam a marathon and raised more than $1,200 for The Terry Fox Foundation, adding to a $20,000 Terry Fox Run in Windsor.
This fall, King's-Edgehill School swimmers took Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope to the pool. Organized by Harvey Hadley ’27, members of the KES swim team and the wider community came together to swim a marathon, raising more than $1,200 for The Terry Fox Foundation.
The swim was one of several ways our community honoured Terry this year. On Sunday, September 20, students, staff, families, and friends joined the Terry Fox Run in Windsor, which raised $20,000 for cancer research.
Thank you to every swimmer, donor, and volunteer who helped keep Terry's dream alive.
