KES comes up short in Regional Final

The Park View Panthers have captured their 6th straight Western region Division 1 soccer banner  with a 4-2 victory over KES.  PV got off to a quick start with a goal in the 2nd minute and after 2 quick goals around the 20th minute mark, KES was in trouble.  A goal from Juan Miguel Merodio soon after the restart gave KES life; however, Park View stamped out thoughts of a comeback with a 4th goal just minutes later.  Cody Ettinger scored a late second goal for KES.  If KES hopes to make provincials we will have to get there the long route with a qualifying game against a Capital Region team with the winner to take on a region winner.  Schedule should be out by Tuesday the 22nd.
