King’s-Edgehill Cadets Excel at Provincial Biathlon Competition - Issue 37

Chief Warrant Officer Lillian ’27 and Master Warrant Officer Emery ’28 competed at the Provincial Biathlon competition this weekend, representing the 254 King’s-Edgehill School Highland Cadet Corps.

At this time of year, biathlon consists of running and shooting the Daisy air rifle. The competition took place at Camp Aldershot in North Kentville. Competing against nearly 60 of the province’s best competitors, Chief Warrant Officer Lillian ’27 captured first place in the Youth Women’s Individual Sprint on the strength of perfect shooting and strong run times. Master Warrant Officer Emery ’28 earned second place in the Senior Girls Individual Sprint with excellent shooting and run times. Both girls were competing in their first-ever Provincial Biathlon competition.

We are delighted with the incredible performances of these two cadets, as King’s-Edgehill School is back at the provincial level in biathlon. Our previous teams have a long legacy of competing at Provincials.

Well done, Lillian ’27 and Emery ’28! We are so proud of your accomplishments!
