Junior Boys Basketball Game, KES vs Uniacke District School — Issue 20

The Junior Boys Basketball team has now won five games in a row. They have some challenging matchups ahead against Horton, Berwick, and at the eight-team Bluenose Tournament in Lunenburg on February 19–20.

This season’s success reflects a group of players who are passionate about basketball, along with others who balance multiple sports, including snowboarding, hockey, and wrestling. A wide variety of sporting experiences remains key at the junior high level.

Jack Kielty ‘29, Jack Shearer ‘29, Rory Sanson ‘30, and Mr. Kevin Lakes all split time between the basketball court and the hockey rink last week, and won games in both sports.
