Pink Shirt Day
Pink Shirt Day occurs on the last Wednesday of February. It started in 2007 when two Grade 12 students in Cambridge, Nova Scotia, bought and distributed 50 pink shirts to support a Grade 9 student who was bullied for wearing pink. Today, it raises global awareness and funds for anti-bullying programs across the country.
