KES Archives

An institutional member of the Council of Nova Scotia Archives (CNSA)

Thanks to the amazing work of Linda Landymore (now retired), the King’s-Edgehill School Archives formally became an institutional member of the Council of Nova Scotia Archives (CNSA) in April 2001.
The School, with a long and rich history spanning more than two centuries, needed to preserve the many photos and items pertaining to King’s College School (KCS), Edgehill and King’s-Edgehill stored in Convocation Hall.

With professional help from the CNSA and a keen team of alumni, boxes of items, documents and photos have been sorted and properly documented and housed. We are always on the lookout for new items and photos for the collection. When in doubt as to what to do with your School items, please contact the Alumni Office at kesalumni@kes.ns.ca.

Archives Volunteers Needed

The sorting, identification, storage and filing of items are by no means complete. If you are interested in helping in our School archives, please contact Heather Strickey at kesalumni@kes.ns.ca or call 902 798-2278 ext. 2225.

Whether you can help an hour or two each month, or just once in a while, we'd love to have your help.
