Each student delivered an excellent presentation and did a commendable job sharing their ideas and discoveries with judges, fellow students, and members of the public.

During the awards ceremony, our students earned an impressive number of medals and special recognitions. James ’32 received a bronze medal, while Lincoln ’29 and Prarthana ’29 each earned silver medals. Gold medals were awarded to Mila ’32, Sharon ’32, Willoughby ’29, Declan ’29, and Iris ’32.

Several students also received special awards in addition to their medals. Farrah ’30 received a gold medal along with the Best Energy Project Award. Spencer ’30 earned a gold medal, the Best Environment Project Award, and was named a Canada-Wide Science Fair finalist. He will travel to Edmonton this spring to represent the Annapolis Valley region.

All of the students who participated in this year’s Regional Science Fair should be extremely proud of their efforts and accomplishments. They represented themselves and their projects with insight, creativity, and confidence. Congratulations to all.
