Win vs EMS

Jr. B Girls' has a great strt to the playoff portion of the season with a 3-1 win over Evangeline Middle School. The girls were off to a bit of a slow start but still managed to score one goal in the first half (Megan from KK). Our defenders held off a strong EMS Midfield, and there were some exceptional plays from Ella and Kathleen, as well as our rock solid keeper Nicola. 

We had two other nice goals in the second half with breakaways and nice plays to get the ball up the field. 

Unfortunately Uniacke District School had to forfeit their game this Thursday because they simply do not have enough players. That means we have 2 wins heading into next week. Our Jr. B Girls will play at KES next Wednesday in round two of the playoffs (opponent to be determined). 

Jr. C Team
These girls will have their West Hants Tournament on October 17th (was rescheduled). They also have a three team round robin playoff later in the month of October-details to follow. The Jr. C team is made of mainly of grade 7 girls with some of the older girls joining for support. We want all Jr. Girls' soccer players to have many games to play in throughout the season!
