KES Captures A.C.I.S. Championship

KES defeats Fountain Academy to caputure the 2015 Sr. Boys ACIS Title.
A beautiful weekend in Rothesay, New Brunswick was just what the KES squad needed to get back into the win column.

A perfect 4-0 record, the team recorded 21 goals and let in 0 over the weekend.  

Game 1:
Kes defeated Fountain Academy 3-0 in the opening match.  Man of the match Adrian Danquah terrorized the defenders and earned a hat-trick to lead the squad to victory.  Eric Dufour recorded the shutout.

Game 2:
KES played a weak Rothesay junior varsity team and 9 different scorers hit the scoresheet to propel KES to a 12-0 win.  Captain Cody Ettinger had 2 goals and then shared in the shut-out playing goal in the 2nd half, while regular keeper Eric Dufour earned half a shut out and amazingly scored a hat-trick in 20 minutes of play in the 2nd half!  Other scorers were Adrian Danquah, Nathan Danquah, Mike Walton, Jeff Zhang, Zach Ocole-Akorimo, Andres Zenteno, and David Lee.  

Game 3:
Semi-Final.  
Kes had little trouble defeating Armbrae Academy 5-0.  The game was quite one-sided.  Jeff Zhang earned a single marker while Cody Ettinger scored 4 goals to round out the scoring.

Game 4:
Final
A tighter battle than the opening game, KES defeated Fountain Academy 1-0 on the strength of another Cody Ettinger goal.  
The boys played well all weekend and will look to carry the momentum into the week's regular season matches.
