The KES squad went to Bridgewater on Sept 22nd to play the reigning regional champions Park View Panthers. This year, Park View is exceptionally good and their superiority was evident from the opening kickoff. They dominated posession for the opening 20 minutes but the KES boys fought back and earned a couple quality chances in the middle of the half. A wonderful strike from distance in the 30th minute saw PV take a 1-0 lead. The boys battled hard but were unable to find a reply and in the 75th minute Park View doubled their lead to secure a comfortable 2-0 win. The KES squad attacked when possible but defended mightily, and grade 11 student David Lee was phenomenol as one of our centre backs.
