Unwinding by the Sea: KES Students go to White Point for Thanksgiving Break — Issue 7
Mr. Wilt and Ms. Hill, along with 20 King’s Edgehill School students, returned on Tuesday from a lovely three-day getaway at White Point Beach Resort in Hunts Point, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, the surfing activity could not take place due to poor weather conditions, but everyone enjoyed the stunning scenery, the sound of waves crashing from their rooms at night, the soft sand, and the cozy, comfortable surroundings.
The students had plenty of time to relax, but also took time to swim in the indoor pool, play on the tennis table and other games in the games room, and toss the football around on the beach. In the evenings, some students soaked in the hot tubs and relaxed in the peaceful saunas. They even enjoyed feeding the resident bunnies that hopped all around the resort, which added a touch of magic to the experience.
The food was another highlight, as it was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared at every meal. Whether lounging in the common areas, relaxing in their rooms, or dining in the beautiful, historic lodge, everything felt effortless and a little indulgent. It was truly a wonderful mix of relaxation and luxury.
