Taking Action for the Planet: Earth Week at KES

Earth Week was a great success at KES! Students engaged in a range of environmentally themed activities and learned meaningful ways to adopt more sustainable habits.

At last week’s assembly, we kicked things off by announcing the winners of our Environmental Video Challenge. This video, created by Annika Felderhof '27, Claire MacNeil '27, and Grace Roddis '27, was a standout submission that set the tone for the week. We’re excited to share it with you today so it can reach an even wider audience.

As we told our students, Earth Week may be a moment of celebration and advocacy, but sustainability is a habit we hope our community practices every day. No action is too small – and apathy is not an option.
