Robofest Success at Acadia University — Issue 23

Spencer Armstrong ’30 and Ollie Boyle ‘30 represented the School this past weekend at Acadia University’s Robofest tournament, an event that brought together 26 teams from across the Maritimes. Students were challenged to design and program a robot capable of placing wooden planks across a gap and then guiding a tennis ball across those planks into a small container.

 

Spencer and Ollie put in outstanding work, carefully engineering and testing their robot in multiple ways. Their efforts paid off with an impressive second-place finish out of 26 teams.
