During the awards ceremony, our students earned a number of medals and special recognitions. In the Grade 4–6 category, Tim received a bronze medal and Maci received a silver. In the Grade 7–12 category, Logan earned a bronze medal; Caleb and Willoughby received silver medals; and Spencer and Link won gold. Farrah was awarded a silver medal along with the Engineers of Nova Scotia Award and a People's Choice Award. Altyn earned a gold medal and received the Best Energy Project Award. Isabelle also received a gold medal as well as the Best Resource Project Award.

All of the students who participated in this year’s regional science fair should be proud of their efforts and accomplishments. They represented themselves and their projects with enthusiasm, insight, and creativity. Congratulations to all.
