Lunar New Year Dress Down Day

The Lunar New Year originates from Chinese culture, known as the Spring Festival, and is a major holiday celebrated across East and Southeast Asia (like Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, etc.) and by Asian diaspora communities worldwide, marking the start of the new year on the lunisolar calendar with traditions centered on family, honoring ancestors, and ushering in good fortune.
