2014-15 King's - Edgehill School Wrestling Team

Introduction to 2014-15 wrestling team.
This years' team will be led by our two grade 12 veterans, Ross Traves and Kyla Walsh. Both are the longest serving members of the team and have had proven success provincially. Ross is following up another high school provincial wrestling championship and Ky is coming off a year and a half of re-hab from knee surgery from an injury sustained at wrestling regionals two years ago. Both will provide great leadership on and off the mat for the large number of new wrestlers this year. The team was pleased with last years' silver medal performances for both the senior and junior boys' teams. With few wrestlers on the team last year this made the accomplishment even more impressive.
We are pleased to have three of the the four junior boys returning to the junior boys' team this year and look forward to great results from Nathan Danquah - defending junior high provincial champion, and last years' silver medalists Alex Otto and Tristan Parker. Silver medalist, Lawson MacLane will help the senior boys' team this year.
We have a good group of new wrestlers to watch out for this year. It will be exciting to see some of the new wrestlers in action in our first tournament of the year, at home on Saturday January 17th.
