Cadet Service Medals Awarded at Dress Rehearsal — Issue 10

On Wednesday afternoon, the 254 King’s-Edgehill School Highland Cadet Corps formed up on the Tanna Turf for a dress rehearsal prior to Remembrance Day. This gave the Corps an opportunity to go over their Highland kit, practice marching to our Cenotaph, and gave our Military Band and Pipes and Drums musicians a final rehearsal before the big day on November 11.

We also recognized the accomplishments of a number of leaders in the 254. One of the tangible ways our Cadet Corps recognizes commitment and service is with the Army Cadet Service Medal for four years of excellent service in the cadet program.

A number of very deserving cadets received their Army Cadet Service Medal. Upon receiving this medal for four years of service, cadets who have served a fifth year receive a bar, which is mounted on the medal.

These leaders dedicate much of their time and effort to the success of the Corps — from drill on ceremonial parades, to teaching lessons, to utilizing their specialty adventure training skills.

The following cadets receiving their medals are listed with their rank and appointment in the Corps:
  1. Sergeant Isaac Angus ‘26, Section Commander
