Junior Rugby Visits the Loyalists

This past weekend, our junior rugby team comprised of students from Grades 6 to 8 travelled to Fredericton, New Brunswick to compete in the Fredericton Loyalists Rugby Tournament. Each year our junior rugby team plays against middle schools across Fredericton in tackle-rugby.

The Highlanders emerged with five wins in six matches with all our boys and girls competing very well in the co-ed event. The team visited local landmarks and returned unblemished having trained for several weeks in proper techniques. Starting rugby and developing skills early remains a key to our success at all levels. Congratulations to Willoughby Larder '29 who was recently named the team’s Most Outstanding Contributor.
