Matilda the Musical

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming production of Matilda the Musical at King's-Edgehill School on November 23, 24, and 25. This captivating stage adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved story promises to be an extraordinary experience for all who attend. Matilda the Musical tells the tale of a gifted young girl with extraordinary talents who dares to stand up against adversity.

What makes this production even more special is the incredible talent and dedication of our students. At King's-Edgehill School, we are fortunate to have a wealth of gifted individuals who have poured their hearts and souls into bringing this musical to life. From the cast to the crew, every student involved has contributed their unique skills and creativity to make this production truly exceptional. We would like to give special recognition to Tanvi Manchineni '24 and Emily Mei ‘24, Grade 12 cast members and choreographers, who have been instrumental in shaping the dance sequences and bringing them to life on stage. Not only are they excellent leaders and creative minds for the musical productions, but they also serve as captains of our competitive dance team. Their dedication and passion for their craft are truly inspiring.

Tanvi and Emily have been involved in numerous plays and musicals since their first year in Grade 7 at King's-Edgehill School. Their journey has been one of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. As they prepare to graduate, they will be deeply missed by the entire school community. Beyond their talent and achievements, Tanvi and Emily have also been exceptional role models for our younger students. Their willingness to share their knowledge and expertise and their ability to inspire others is truly commendable. They have not only helped shape the production of Matilda the Musical, but they have also left a lasting impact on the students they have mentored.
