Dalhousie’s Brain Bee

We had a great day at Dalhousie's Brain Bee sponsored by their Brain Repair Research Center. The competition was tough and the questions even tougher. More than one of the PhD students said they couldn't believe how challenging the questions were. They weren't sure they would pass.

 

It was a wonderful experience for the students. After all the brain flexing during the testing, they were taken on a tour of  the research department. Here in four separate labs PhD candidates took time to explain their research and possible real-world implications. It was super fascinating!

 

We stopped and had ice cream afterwards to celebrate their efforts.
