The Highlander girls basketball team had a successful weekend in Montreal as they competed in the Montreal Independent School Invitational Tournament. With an intense schedule, the girls played six games over a condensed time to test their physical conditioning. The girls played phenomenal defense and caused chaos for their opponents. Shots were not falling, so our team was forced to drive the basket and score in close proximity to the hoop. In the end, the girls won all six games and the championship. There was lots of laughter, random dancing and a good time was had by all. Our team chemistry is excellent.
