Born in Windsor, she worked in Halifax for a number of years. After moving to Toronto she attended The International Institute of Travel and was employed in the travel industry. She made St. Kitts, West Indies her home for the past 12 years. Liz loved St. Kitts, her father's birth place, and as the much-respected owner and operator of Pereira Tours, she passionately promoted the island for all it has to offer. Liz was predeceased by her father, Richard "Dick" Pereira; and brother-in-law, Steve Dunn. She is survived by her mother, Alice; sisters, Karin (Don) Dougherty, Colleen Pereira-Dunn, and Kathy (Larry) Pereira-Betance; as well as nephews, Ian, Nick, Michael, and Justin.
