Passed away January 10th, 2019
PALMER, Carl Wallace age 80, of Nicholsville, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Aylesford, he was a son of the late Claude and Beatrice (Blanchard) Palmer. Carl was a farmer and being an amputee, farm safety was very important to him. He founded and was chairman of the Canadian Farmers with Disabilities Registry. Carl was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother and loved his family dearly. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn (Hirtle); children, Nancy Ebeling, Alberta; Colin (Kim) Palmer, Saskatoon; Melody (Brad) Morse, Berwick; Tim (Virginia) Palmer, Nicholsville; Sister, Janet (David) Lowe, Berwick; brother, Alton Palmer, Millville; grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Lauren, Emily, Carter, David, Aaron, Grace, Margaret, Kyle, Neville, Garreth, Allana, Hanley, Liam and all their loving families as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Faylene and grandson Damon Woods.
