Meet the Cast and Crew of Clue

We are very proud to present Clue: On Stage (High School Edition) as this year’s Senior School play production. From acting to backstage crew, we will be highlighting and introducing some of the students involved in our show as the weeks unfold. Our students will share their thoughts about the play, their experience with the performing arts, and the importance of arts in their everyday lives. We hope you will support this dedicated team of staff and students by attending this fun production. The shows run from April 21-23 and masks are required.

This week we are highlighting Tanvi Manchineni ‘24 and Will Mercer ‘22:

 

Tanvi is originally from England but is living locally now. She is in Grade 10 and her fourth year at KES. She has always enjoyed theatre and has always been a part of King’s-Edgehill productions. Tanvi enjoyed being a part of her first Senior School production this fall and has also taken part in the KES productions Freaky Friday, Mary Poppins, and Frozen Jr., as well as a dance piece in 2021’s musical revue. Her love of theatre started when she saw Wicked performed in London, and her love for the arts has only grown. She finds that singing and dancing increase her mood and she uses the arts as an outlet and way of expressing and relaxing. She is also on the KES dance team. Tanvi recommends the arts to others because the experience you have and the friends you make along the way in the fine arts community is phenomenal. Tanvi is looking forward to her scene in the play and cannot wait to see the play come together as a whole. 

 

Will was born in Chicago but currently lives in Port Williams, Nova Scotia. This is his fourth and final year at King’s-Edgehill School. He has decided to participate in this year’s Senior School play because he loves theatre and performance and says that every experience he’s had with the arts has been enjoyable. In the past, he has done a musical theatre intensive, participated in a Neptune Theatre camp, and most recently was in Heathers: High School Edition. Over the course of the pandemic, theatre has transformed from a pastime to a passion. Will believes that art provides an outlet for freedom of expression and a medium for developing skills such as creativity, problem solving, and social skills. He will be missed next year.
