Artists of the Week

The arts at King’s-Edgehill are an inclusive environment that embraces diversity. Not only in who we are but in our choices of what we pursue and how we express that choice. Imagination and creativity foster the capacity to develop ideas, solve problems, provide life skills, and open the door for opportunities. Intelligence and creativity are overlapping skills and through the arts, a person builds confidence, develops perspective, and finds their true nature.

Today we recognize Alex Graham '25, Bryan Ma '24, and Samantha Mayer '24 in theatre.

Bryan, Alex, and Samantha have dedicated several hours to perfecting their scene for the Senior School play and have meticulously crafted distinct characteristics for their roles, setting them apart from other characters they play in the production. They have worked diligently to pinpoint their blocking, which has proven tricky considering the space they have to navigate. Their collective effort and commitment showcase their passion and represent the arts pillar with pride.

We also recognize Sara Monse Dominguez '28 in dance.

Throughout our sport terms together and in preparation for the upcoming dance recital, Sara has shown that she is dedicated to the KES dance team in sharing her passion for dance. Her devotion to this athletic art is seen in the solo routine she will perform at the recital. Between small attention to detail and greater internal movement, she embodies a character that she will portray in her solo. Additionally, her contributions to the dance team are appreciated as she willingly volunteers to take on greater responsibility when needed. Thank you, Sara!
