Season Schedule and other notes ...
Gentlemen,
I hope you are having a good March break. Please look at the Boys’ Rugby MyKES page, where you will find the schedule for the season. It is very important that you take a close look at these fixtures and compare them to the timetables of your other responsibilities. Some of you are involved in the IB, and some of you may have family responsibilities that may conflict, and it is imperative that you iron out these conflicts as soon as possible to make sure nothing interferes with these games.
A couple of notes:
- Routines and rituals are very important. We will meet in the locker room in the basement of the AC exactly one hour before kickoff for our home games. This means you will be ready, in every sense of the term, when the coaches walk in.
- 7-a-side rugby games will precede most league games. These will be reserved for less-experienced grade 9’s and 10’s.
- Kickoff and finish times are approximate because of the varying lengths of the girls’ games and the 7’s games.
Also, please make sure to get a ball and a mouth guard from Ms. Shanks, if you have not already. Our uniforms should be in by the time we are back in school. We will set a day to issue them.
