Artists of the Week

The arts at King’s-Edgehill are an inclusive environment that embraces diversity. Not only in who we are but in our choices of what we pursue and how we express that choice. Imagination and creativity foster the capacity to develop ideas, solve problems, provide life skills, and open the door for opportunities. Intelligence and creativity are overlapping skills and through the arts, a person builds confidence, develops perspective, and finds their true nature.

Bethany recently starred in the Junior School production of Annie Jr., playing the title role. Her dedication to the character, strong vocal performance, dancing chops, and enthusiastic support were assets in the production. Bethany learned her parts diligently and was always up for a new challenge. She was also always willing to help her fellow cast mates on and off the stage. We look forward to seeing Bethany in future musical productions at KES!

Sadie is an exceptional leader who has exceeded expectations by embracing various roles in the Senior School play. Not only has she demonstrated creativity and dedication by crafting props and contributing to the weekly newsletter, highlighting her cast and crew peers, but she also impressively memorizes lines well ahead of time, attends all rehearsals, and readily steps into roles when needed. Her versatile involvement and tireless commitment make her a valuable and appreciated contributor to the performing arts program. Thank you, Sadie!
