2-1 Win over Markham

The Highlanders finish the round robin at 3-0 and sit in first place in their division. The Highlanders controlled the pace for the first half but then began to allow Markham to get comfortable. A late 5on3 and another powerplay enabled Markham to push but the Highlanders stood their ground. The only Stars goal came off a delayed penalty where possesion was not called, followed by a collision between Highlander defender and goalie to leave an empty net. It was a great character win moving into the playoff rounds.
