Semi-final Sobeys Cup: 4-0 Loss vs Mount Academy
The Highlanders played a strong Mount Academy team in the Semi-finals of the Sobeys Cup. Scoreless after a back and forth first period, the Mount jumped to a 1-0 lead midway through the second. The Highlanders played an aggressive game but again, were unable to produce offensively. With lots of opportunities, the Mount goalie made multiple game saving stops to keep the lead.
In the third, the Highlanders killed off 1:54 seconds of a 5on3 before the Mount made it 2-0. The Highlanders came in waves late in the third but could not break the scoreless drought. The Mount scored 2 late third period goals to push the lead to 4.
