King’s-Edgehill School Returns to Barbados!

After three seemingly long years, Associate Director of Admissions, Karen Garvie, returned to the friendly island of Barbados to meet and connect with families interested in King’s-Edgehill School. The event, which hosted over 20 prospective families, was well-attended and served as an excellent opportunity to learn more about KES.

But that’s not all. The icing on the cake is that this event also brought together KES alumni Kyle Yearwood ‘16, Adam Evelyn ‘18, Zach Evelyn ‘18, Mikaela Hinds ‘21, former and current parents, and grandparents from over the years to help share our stories.

As we have seen time and again, word of mouth continues to serve as our most effective marketing tool, and this event was no exception. For that, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to those families and alumni who had a direct impact on the success of our Barbados reception. The opportunity for new families to hear firsthand the experiences of those who have already attended King’s-Edgehill School is truly invaluable.

Over the following days, Karen hosted follow-up meetings with prospective families and held an appreciation dinner for our alumni, parent, and grandparent ambassadors that were in attendance. In all, it was a short but successful trip to Barbados, and one we have been excitedly working toward.
