Girls Basketball Nail Biter!

Our prep basketball team played their first home game of the season, and the first competition on our new Dylan-adorned floor! Our visitors from Cégep de Thetford were a great matchup for an exciting competitive game. Lauren Hainstock ‘22 hit a deep three-point shot late in the game, combined with a full court drive by Rain Jhaj ‘22 to put KES up by two in the dying seconds. Thetford had two free throws to tie with 1.6 seconds left. She made the first shot, then missed the second, and they had a desperation 12 foot shot that came up short, but the rebound was secured by the home team and a 56-55 win for the Highlanders!

Many thanks to the great crowd who were excited, loud, and hanging on every possession as the game progressed.
