    2023 Highlanders Girls Hockey Team Kings-Edgehill's varsity hockey program is considered amongst the top Prep hockey programs in Canada. The program has male and female teams who have combined to win 13 Nova Scotia championships in the past 20 years as well as more than 100 major tournament championships throughout Canada and in the US during the past decade. 

    The KES female varsity hockey team play 40 to 50 games in a typical season and practice almost daily during the hockey season. The team members are commonly from Atlantic Canada and other parts of Canada as well as from several European countries. Players from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Scotland, Belgium, South Korea, and the United States have skated with the KES varsity program during the past decade. 

    King's-Edgehill's annual schedule includes games in the Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL) as well as playing in many highly regarded tournaments that provide maximum exposure to college, university, and junior scouts. The PPHL enables the team to venture to the United States for showcases in both The Highlanders also play in the Maritime Prep Hockey League which runs from September to February. The team is also travelling to the Brampton 2 Nations tournament as well as the Toronto Aeros Winter Classic this season. The remainder of the schedule is comprised of many games against Nova Scotia and New Brunswick U18AAA teams.
