The program has male and female teams who have combined to win 13 Nova Scotia championships in the past 20 years as well as more than 100 major tournament championships throughout Canada and in the US during the past decade.
The KES male varsity hockey team plays 45-50 games in a typical season and practice almost daily during the hockey season. Our players receive professional strength and conditioning on a weekly basis as well. Our program focuses on individual player development and team play during the season. Team members are commonly from Atlantic Canada and other parts of Canada as well as from several European countries. Players from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Slovakia, Finland, Germany, Norway, Belgium, South Korea and the United States have skated with the KES varsity team during the past decade.

King’s-Edgehill’s annual schedule includes games in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) and the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL) as well as playing in many highly regarded tournaments that provide maximum exposure to college, university, professional, and major junior scouts. Recent tournament competitions have included the prestigious National Independent School Invitational Championship in Toronto, the Stanstead College Invitational in Quebec, and the Dynamique Coupe in Quebec City. The team has also competed in the local U18 AAA Ice Jam Tournament, as well as the Monctonian U18 AAA Tournament.
