The Exploratory Art Workshop

The exploratory art workshop each week offers watercolour and acrylic painting.

Recognizing February as not only African Heritage Month but an inclusive understanding of people, geography, and culture, the watercolour group celebrated African-inspired colour through prints, design, painting, and cultural colours.

The exploratory art workshop is a time at the end of the day to relax into some watercolour techniques while enjoying the mood, the vibrancy of colours, and elements of design in a watercolour painting.

The acrylic painting workshop is a 10-week continuous painting program where each student is guided by the instructor in acrylic painting. Many students are painting for the first time, learning to mix colours, brush strokes, observation for light and dark, and depth of field. The themes are landscapes in nature with beautiful canvases of water, sky, mountains, sunsets, and more.
