Development Time

The King’s-Edgehill developmental hockey team had another fantastic season competing in a variety of games and tournaments. Veteran coach Mr. Sandy Forsyth spearheaded the team with the assistance of Mr. Pat LePoidevin. Mr. Kevin Lakes helped organize things behind the scenes for the boys and girls who were almost entirely Junior School students. The hockey team had elite players as well as new skaters, including two international students, who learned the Canadian way to play our beloved sport. Mr. Forsyth put the team through their paces twice a week at practice, and they competed often, playing against Halifax Grammar School, Summit Academy, Armbrae Academy, Sacred Heart School, and Hantsport.
