Heart, Growth, and Grit: KES at the Tropical 7s

KES athletes recently returned from the Tropical 7s rugby tournament in Florida, where they showcased not only their skill but also their heart. Our girls delivered an unforgettable performance, going undefeated through six matches against teams from across North America and the Caribbean to claim the division championship.

For our boys team, the tournament was a test of growth and resilience. Facing elite international opponents, they improved with every match, gaining experience and confidence that will no doubt strengthen their season back home.

Along the way, the team crossed paths with KES alumna Burns Chamberlain ’99, now coaching a squad from Colorado – a proud reminder of the lasting connections and shared passion that define our KES community.

It was a week of learning, competing, and representing KES with pride, both on and off the pitch. Congratulations to all!
