Senior Student Leadership Training

This year’s senior student leaders spent the beautiful Labour Day weekend preparing for their new roles and assisting with welcoming our new students into the fold. Prefects, house captains and stewards all participated in a series of workshops and events designed to aid them in their leadership positions. Self-care activities, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) education, and leadership skills are just some of the things they learned about throughout the day. This year’s leaders have generated many wonderful ideas and have already set lots of plans in motion, including the welcome activities for new student boarders. The training culminated in the prefects and house captains receiving their prefect ties at a delicious barbeque at the Head of School’s home, while the stewards enjoyed a beautiful hike and a pizza party.
