Artists of the Week

Each week, a deserving artist is featured who contributes to the artistic life of our School. This week at assembly, we were pleased to acknowledge the talents of the following students:

April 4 – Jennifer Liang ‘22 has contributed so much to the visual arts programme in the past few years. In yearbook, she is one of our main photographers and you have probably seen her running around taking photographs of sports teams and events. In visual arts class, she has a passion for architecture and her culture. This is expressed in her amazing IB exhibition which is now on display in the dining hall. Please take the time and enjoy her incredible artwork.

April 11 – Ruby Wheelock ‘26 has been an excellent leader in her music class. She leads by example in consistently applying herself to mastering the music, and she has made significant progress as a singer this term. Her own development and attitude have elevated the performing level of the entire class.

April 18 – Tanvi Manchineni ‘24 has been consistent at all rehearsals as an understudy and as an actor in a role that is double cast. She is always well prepared ahead of time and somehow knows everybody’s lines including her own. She is a valued member of our theatre arts programme.

April 25 – Gabby Shaw ’25 did a fantastic job as a leading role in the Lion King, Jr. She is a remarkable leader and sets a stellar example for her fellow actors to follow with her attentiveness, energy, and diligence throughout the production process.
