KES Celebrates International Women’s Day

Tuesday, March 8, marked International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.

This year’s theme was #BreakTheBias and organizations were invited to develop and share #BreakTheBias images and videos through their social media channels. Additionally, videos were submitted on the International Women’s Day website to be featured in their online library.

A big shout out to student-leader, Lucy Goddard ‘23, for taking the initiative to organize and direct our KES #BreakTheBias video. Thank you to all students and faculty who helped to make this a possibility as well!
