A Full and Fantastic Soccer Season

Our KES Junior girls soccer team had a strong season, playing eight games as well as several scrimmages throughout the fall. The girls qualified for regionals by beating out Shelburne Regional High School 2-1 in a very wet and muddy “play-in” game. Our team travelled to Lockeport, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, November 3 to play in the tier two regional finals. They faced Bridgetown in a semi-final game, winning 2-0, and earning a spot in the finals. The team battled hard against a strong New Germany team but fell short with a final score of 3-1 and came home with a silver medal in hand.

The girls worked hard this season, improved both as a team and individually, and most importantly, had fun together! These players are all wonderful young ladies with huge hearts.

We thank all the parents for their support this season.
