Swimteam "Trys Like Terry" and swims 42km relay!

🌟 What an amazing feat for an amazing group of swimmers! Their efforts went above and beyond! 🌟
Truly pulling it together in a Terry Fox style. #TryLikeTerry

We went from "let's do it" to done in less than a week.
Their team effort accomplished:
✔ more than 1688 laps 🏊‍♀️
✔ team work of 21 athletes ages 10 -17!
✔ raised over $1600.00 for cancer research ✔supported each other to swim a little more          ✔ gave it their all and did so with a smile 😊                     Super Impressive! ✔

💥These guys were so excited with a goal of swimming a 42km marathon that they swam a whooping 52km, for good measure!! 💥

Getting the waters rolling, the swimmers were excited to find their coaches Moira (swam the first km), Steven (600 m) and swim parent Shelley (500m). Thanks for the push!!

Special thanks to Rown Francis for his brilliant idea!💡 Thanks to Taryn Francis, Shelley Skedden, and Siobhann MacDougall for counting laps, taking photos, and supplying nourishment for the team. 📣 shout out to the volunteer students who came out and counted, encouraged, and cheered! 🥰

One last special thanks to all those that were able to make a donation to Terry Fox's cause. No donation was too small and all were greatly appreciated.
