Congratulations to our Junior National Debaters

Congratulations to all our participants on their successes at Saturday's informal Junior National Tournament hosted by Lower Canada College in Montreal.  Eighty competitors from here to Vancouver were in attendance, and our KES Debaters represented themselves very well on the topic of: “this house supports a universal basic income” for 2 rounds. There were 4 additional rounds where debaters were given 25 minutes to prepare before their topics were debated.

Coming in just inside the top half of the standings, the team of William Larder and Vincent Armstrong finished 19th overall with 2 very strong individual results. William finished 36th and Vincent finished 20th. Well done, boys!

Sadie Junger has continued to thrive - finishing 18th overall, and she was part of the 4th place team. Well done, Sadie!

Our final virtual debate will be in a few weeks at the CSDF Junior Nationals hosted in Winnipeg.
