An agamograph is a painting, drawing, sculpture or photograph that, when viewed from different angles, reveals a different image. Agamographs are named after Yakkov Agam, an Israel artist known for his sculptures that move, change or transform.
Our Grade 10 photography project was based on this concept. Students were asked to choose two different photos and then the images were cut into strips and reconstructed on a fan shape. I included the handout in the photos for you to get a sense of how these projects were made. The projects are now on display in front of our Fountain Performing Arts Centre. Enjoy.
