Newfoundland Contingent at KES 

Newfoundland and Labrador has a large contingent playing hockey at King’s-Edgehill School in Nova Scotia this season.  The school plays in the Prep School Hockey Federation (PSHF), travelling throughout the Maritimes, Quebec, Ontario and the eastern United States.  King’s-Edgehill is in second place heading into PSHF Ottawa Championships, which begins March 2nd.  The team is coached by Grand Falls-Windsor native and former professional Brian Casey who played in North America and Europe, winning two Spengler Cups with Team Canada, a national university championship with the 1996 Acadia Axemen and national championships in Slovakia and Denmark.  Newfoundlanders on the King’s Edgehill team include (from left):  Mike Oliver (Mount Pearl), Noah Wilson, Ryan Costello, Tanner Humber-Dredge (all from St. John’s), Head Coach Brian Casey (Grand Falls-Windsor), Maverik Skeans (Botwood) and Danny Walsh and Will Keating (Corner Brook).
