Heather Strickey began her teaching career at King's-Edgehill School in the fall of 1997. She taught a myriad of courses during her seventeen year teaching career at the School. In June of 2014, Heather retired her red pen and become the Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations for King’s-Edgehill School. Heather delights in the "Be More" philosophy of the School. Although Heather misses teaching, she is very excited about her work with the Advancement team. Heather is excited that our School continues to be a beacon for academic achievement in the Atlantic provinces and a source of pride and unforgettable memories for its Alumni.
Jenn joined the Advancement Team in the spring of 2016 bringing with her an extensive background in business and youth volunteer work. With professional experience in operations, training and development, event management, fundraising and communications, she will be working with our Alumni and the King’s-Edgehill community at large to advance the School through creating opportunities for lifelong engagement and meaningful involvement. Jenn truly enjoys the KES experience and her role as Advancement and Alumni Officer, and looks forward to acting as an important link between the School and Alumni around the world!
Certified Microsoft Application trainer and workplace educator. Prior to having my own business, I taught at several colleges in Nova Scotia and for a short time, tried my hand at the principal postion. I love teaching and working with technology, and King’s-Edgehill School is the perfect setting for this combination.
Since starting at King’s-Edgehill School, I have been overwhelmed with the wonderful stories from our Alumni. I so look forward to hearing and being a part of the stories to come with each new year of successful graduates. The culture at King’s-Edgehill School is second to none. To witness the support, engagement and collaboration between students and faculty would set parents’ mind at ease knowing they are, as parents do, giving their children the best tools that they can to aid their children in becoming the successful adults of tomorrow. Our Alumni’s achievements are a testimony to the strong foundation that was established at King’s-Edgehill School.
Again, I look forward to connecting with the Alumni at King’s-Edgehill School and encourage all Alumni to stay connected and keep the stories flowing.

My aim is to continue to broaden and increase alumni participation in both School and alumni events and programmes. The role of the Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations is key to realizing many of the key strategies of the Foundation such as fostering connections and communications between Alumni and the School, providing opportunities for networking and ways to give back to the School, facilitating a mentoring programme, and encouraging volunteerism and participation in School life. It is my pleasure to welcome, Heather Strickey, in her new role as Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations.
KES inspires academic, athletic and artistic excellence with a commitment to the traditional community ideals of gentleness and learning, dignity and respect, so that students may discover and cultivate their unique potential, prepare for post-secondary education and develop a life-long enthusiasm for the spiritual and intellectual growth necessary to flourish in the contemporary world.
