Grade 7 Students Take on Brier Island

On Wednesday, Grade 7 students departed for Brier Island and experienced some of the flora and fauna that this magical part of Nova Scotia has to offer. The day began with a beautiful hike of Balancing Rock trail on Long Island, followed by a short trek out to Grand Passage Lighthouse after checking into the lodge. As its name would suggest, students saw plenty of seals at Seal Cove!

The day came to an end as students enjoyed the sunset at Pond Cove Beach and gathered around a bonfire while making music and eating s'mores. What a way to finish off a great first day!
