Alumna Molly Singer '23 Receives Canadian Cadet Scholarship

On August 24, Mr. Scott Pushie, President of the Army Cadet League of Nova Scotia and Vice President of the Army Cadet League of Canada, paid a visit to the home of Molly Singer ‘23. For those of you who do not know this young lady, Molly was a Warrant Officer in the 254 holding the appointment of Company Quartermaster Sergeant (CQMS).

This was a great trip for Mr. Pushie as he had the honour of presenting Molly with the Colonel Commandants and National Presidents Scholarship valued at $1,000. She also received the Army Cadet League Coin to honour her years of service in the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. Molly was one of five recipients across Canada to receive the scholarship and coin. She is off to the University of New Brunswick to play rugby and earn a degree in criminology. On behalf of the Corps, we wish Molly success and our congratulations on winning this auspicious award.

What a great day to have served as a Cadet in the 254!
