Lennon Rutledge Showcases Fine, Fine Line - Revue #5

I have had the good fortune of featuring Grade 10 student Lennon Rutledge a couple of times already since she arrived at KES in September. Here she is again, this time singing Fine, Fine Line from the Broadway musical Avenue Q. I love this rendition, especially the richness of her vibrato treatment and the way she captures the essence of the lyrics with her emotion. I'm quite confident you will too.

Lennon: This was the first musical that I’ve taken part in and going into the school year I wasn’t sure if there was going to be a show like this, due with the COVID Restrictions. Everyone that was in the Musical has such amazing talent and being a part of an event like this is so special, due with the circumstances. I was assigned this song and wasn’t sure if it would fit my voice. I started to learn the song every day, and it fit my voice perfectly. I loved how I changed the song into my own version from what it originally was in the Musical.

Enjoy the show.
